A special tour to discover the sanctuary that the inhabitants of ancient Tibur dedicated to their patron god, Hercules.
The Sanctuary was built on a stretch of the ancient Via Tiburtina and was formed by a theatre, which took advantage of the natural slope of the land, a large square bordered by arcades, and the temple itself. A series of terraces, porticoes and colonnades also created a grandiose scenography around the place of worship. A unique opportunity to enjoy with an expert of the unique panorama of the Tiburtine valley and learn more about its millenary history.
