From Thursday 29 May 2025, the exhibition “Caravaggio 2025” will extend its opening hours to offer an evening experience to the public.
The new time slots will be bookable online as of Monday 26 May 2025 at 10 a.m.
New opening hours for the public:
Thursday to Sunday:
from 09:00 to 00:00 (last admission 23:00), except Friday 13th and Saturday 14th June 2025
And on other dates in the calendar from 09:00 to 22:00 (last entry at 21:00) :

From 3 June 2025
With the conclusion of school activities, from Monday 3 June, access to the exhibition will also be extended to individual visitors on Monday mornings.
Reservations and ticket availability:
The new time slots will be bookable online from Monday 26 May 2025 at 10.00 a.m.
Please note that tickets can be purchased as follows
- Schools and accompanied groups (8-25 persons): maximum 25 tickets per day of visit
- Accompanied mini-groups (3-10 persons): maximum 10 tickets per day of visit
- Individual visitors: maximum 9 tickets per day of visit
Each customer can purchase a maximum of 25 tickets per day of visit, regardless of the type (individuals, groups/schools, minigroups).
Reservations exceeding the indicated limits will be cancelled. Tickets will be put back on sale in their respective boxes.
Reassignment of unsold groups:
Every Friday by 19:00, any unsold school, group and mini-group tickets will be put on sale as individual tickets for the following week (Monday to Sunday).

- The ticket is nominative (except for schools).
- At the time of purchase, each visitor must enter their personal data.
At the entrance it is mandatory to show an original identity document together with the ticket.

- Train: Take a train to Termini Station, then switch to Metro Line A and get off at the Barberini stop.
- Bus: Several bus lines stop near Palazzo Barberini, including 53, 61, 62, 63, 80, 81, 83, 160, 492, and 590.
Accessibility
CLOAKROOM It is mandatory to deposit large bags and backpacks and umbrellas. Trolleys and luggage are not allowed.
ACCESSIBILITY Entrance without architectural barriers. The entrance of dogs, even small ones, is forbidden, except for guide dogs accompanying visually impaired people or unless a pet therapy certificate is presented.
For safety reasons, strollers are not allowed inside the exhibition. They can be left in the designated area outside the museum.
