The Municipality of Milan – Sforza Castle, in collaboration with Ad Artem and CoopCulture, is offering a new adventure: explore a section of the battlements of Sforza Castle on your own!
The battlements were the patrol route for soldiers and served the purpose of allowing constant monitoring of the castle's security. During the Sforza family era, the castle was a military fortress as well as the ducal residence. This section of the walkway now allows for a new individual visit experience, which will complement the guided tours already available. You'll be able to discover the defensive system and the secret charm of the castle, and admire the urban skyline from multiple viewpoints, experiencing a combination of culture and quality leisure time. From this privileged position, tourists and Milanese alike will be able to observe the entire city, recognizing its most significant landmarks, and at the same time understand the complex and fascinating structure of Sforza Castle.
