Closing
- The museum is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. It is also closed on December 25th and January 1st. On December 24th and December 31st, the museum closes early at 2:00 PM.

The museum is open on all National Holidays and on the city's Patron Saint Day (November 3rd), even if they fall on a day when the museum is normally closed.

By Bus:
Lines 18 (weekdays) and 5 (weekends): Get off at the Via Cumano (Musei) or Via Cumano (Via Rietti) stop.
Lines 22 and 11: Get off at the Via Revoltella 126 (corner of Via d'Angeli) stop. From there, it's about a 5-minute walk along Via Rietti.
By Car:
Approximately 10-15 minutes from Trieste Centrale station. Free parking is available nearby.
