VILLA WIDMANN. VISIT
The visit will enable you to learn more about the history of the villa and the nobles that lived here but also traditional Venetian crafts through particular objects like the famous felze (the cover for protecting passengers at the centre of gondolas).
In the main hall you will be able to admire the works of Giuseppe Angeli, disciple of Giambattista Piazzetta, and Gerolamo Mengozzi Colonna, Tiepolo’s favourite collaborator.
The connections with Venice can also be seen outside. Passing through the typical barchessa colonnade, you will find yourselves in an evocative Venetian-style campiello where you can admire the collection of ancient carriages.
Once you have finished your visit of the villa you can explore the 16,000 square metres of the park that surrounds it, notable for its wide range of plants and romantic lake.
