The Casa del Conte Verde is an important example of 15th century Piedmontese architecture.
The building is preserved in all its complexity: the stratification of its ancient commercial and residential functions combines a modern intervention of recovery and reuse in an urban context.

VISITING THE HOUSE
The Casa del Conte Verde is a unique and precious testimony of a mansion dating back to the fourteenth-fourteenth century and is a significant example of a late-medieval Piedmontese building.
Located in the oldest part of the historical centre of Rivoli, the House overlooks the narrowest stretch of Via Piol.
Popular tradition has attributed the name "Conte Verde" to the building, associating it with Amedeo VI of Savoy (1334-1383), so nicknamed because of the colour of the dress he wore during a tournament.
