How to reach

BY BUS

The regional transport service connects the main cities with the archaeological site, in particular the Trapani-Calatafimi Segesta and Palermo-Segesta bus lines. You can consult the timetables on the TARANTOLA BUS website.

BY CAR

Take the A29 motorway from Palermo to Trapani, exit at the Segesta junction and continue towards Calatafimi Segesta following the road signs that you find after passing the archaeological park of Segesta. Continue for 2 km and at the crossroads turn right. After 5 km you will arrive in the town.

BY PLANE

The nearest airports are Palermo and Trapani.

Park Regulations

  • Animals: Pets are allowed inside the Park provided they are kept on a leash and owners have a scoop and hygienic bag for collecting droppings. Large animals must also wear a muzzle. Pets are not allowed inside the Temple or near the monuments.
  • Drones (Remotely Piloted Aircraft System - RPAS): Drone use is prohibited without prior authorization. Authorization requests should be sent to the following email address: archeo.segesta@regione.sicilia.it
