Opened in December 2008, it is one of the most important museums in Italy and among the leading institutions in Europe for the knowledge and study of Asian art.
It is housed in the historic Palazzo Mazzonis, a monumental 17th-18th century building that has undergone a sophisticated and meticulous restoration. This restoration has enhanced its original structures and decorations, enabling an optimal display of the Museum's collection.
