The church of St. Francis Xavier, also known as the church of the Mission.
The first stone of this church was laid on May 14, 1665. For the construction of the building, designed by the architect Giovenale Boetto from Fossano, the houses on the southern side of Piazza Maggiore were demolished, along with six arches of the porticoes that originally surrounded the entire square.
