The educational journey offers visitors the chance to trace the history of the Calabrian territory from the ancient Stone Age to the Roman era, passing through the grand history of the colonies and focusing on the civilizations that developed in the post-classical age. A special focus on the Riace Bronzes and the history of the city of Reggio from its foundation makes this journey unmissable. The visit, which unfolds chronologically, is enriched with many narratives about history, religion, traditions, daily activities, and the history of the excavations.

A journey to learn about the Greek world of the colonies through material culture. From the great sanctuaries and architectures, the colorful terracottas, to the countless amount of votive offerings, pinakes that tell of a slow and peaceful daily life, funeral customs, furnishings, housing. Everything speaks to us of the Greeks, but also of the local people. A beautiful journey at MArRC into the daily life of the ancient world.
