Temporary closure of rooms 38 and 39 for renovation work - On free admission days, the Tempio Machine and the Ori Castellani and Zodiac rooms will not be open to visitors.
Visitors are advised that the elevator in room 13 is temporarily out of service until the renovation work on the exhibition rooms is complete. From Tuesday, May 19, it will also be unavailable to use the exit located in room 13 toward the left side garden. Visitors will have to retrace their steps to room 1 and access the upper floor via the emergency staircase in room 20. From there, they can continue their visit to the remaining museum rooms. The elevator located in the right wing of the museum is also available. Please follow the signs and ask the staff for directions. - Visitors are advised that the restrooms located on the ground floor at the exit of rooms 39-40 are not available. Visitors can use the restrooms in the left side garden of the villa.
- Visitors are advised that exhibition rooms 13a and 13b (Cerveteri-Pyrgi), 38, 39, and 40 (Veio) are temporarily closed for renovations. Please follow the signs along the route and ask the staff for directions.
- The heads from the Sarcophagus of the Spouses will remain in the restoration laboratory until October. They can only be viewed on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm at the restoration laboratory.
