How to reach
The cave can be accessed:
- by sea, from the tourist port via direct transportation or as a stop on a tour of the island;
- by land, via a boat trip into the sea within the Municipality of Anacapri;
- by sea, via private pleasure boats, subject to tonnage restrictions (max. 20 tons).

Given the nature of the place and the particular configuration of the access, the instructions formulated by the boatman must be strictly followed.
In particular it is forbidden:
lean with head and limbs from the boat
drop into the water in order to get wet for pleasure, both inside and outside the cave.
introduce life jackets, armrests and cushions to be used for diving strictly prohibited by current legislation
engage in behavior harmful to public property
introduce dogs and/or other animals
It is recommended:
to pay attention to their children
to maintain a supine position when entering/exiting the cave.
in case of strong heat, stop in shaded areas and wear hats to avoid heat strokes
to use non-slip shoes or at least lace-up and flat shoes.
not to drop anything into the sea both inside and outside the Grotto.
Smoking and the use of open flames are strictly prohibited.
For visitors under the age of 14, the presence of a companion is required
