The refectory of the Convent of Ognissanti is renowned for the magnificent fresco created in 1488 by Domenico Ghirlandaio.
This typical single-hall refectory preserves, in addition to the Last Supper and its sinopia, the original washbasins and portal, both dated 1488, as well as an Annunciation from the early 15th century.

In the adjoining church, two other works by Ghirlandaio can be admired: a Saint Jerome (1480) and an early Madonna of Mercy with the Deposition of Christ, commissioned by the Vespucci family.
Access to the refectory is through the cloister, which features frescoes depicting Stories from the Life of Saint Francis, painted from 1600 onwards by Florentine artists including Jacopo Ligozzi and Giovanni da San Giovanni.
