Palazzo Madama is an extraordinary architectural complex, its history still evident today in the building's diverse structural and decorative elements. The visit can continue with a stroll through the Medieval Botanical Garden located at the foot of the tower.
The palace encapsulates the city's entire history: starting as a Roman gate, it was transformed into a fortress in the Middle Ages and later into the castle of the Princes of Acaja.
