- young people aged between 18 and 25 from the European Community and non-EU countries holding a regular residence permit issued for the reasons indicated on the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The age limit within which it is possible to benefit from the benefit must be considered exceeded from the day following the day of the child's 25th birthday.

FREE TICKET
- Citizens of the European Union under 18 years of age, as well as non-EU minors.
- Citizens of the European Union with disabilities and one accompanying family member or other caregiver demonstrating affiliation with social and health care services (Ministerial Decree No. 239 of April 20, 2006).
- Citizens of non-EU countries on a "reciprocity basis" (minors under 12 must be accompanied).
- Tour guides from the European Union in the exercise of their professional activity, with a valid license issued by the competent authority; tourist interpreters from the European Union when their services are required alongside a guide, with a valid license issued by the competent authority; Ministry of Culture (MiC) staff.
- Members of ICOM (International Council of Museums).
- Groups or student groups from public and private schools of the European Union, accompanied by their teachers, upon reservation and within the limit set by the head of the institution.
- Students of advanced training courses at Ministry Schools (Central Institute for Restoration, Workshop of Semi-precious Stones, School for Mosaic Restoration).
- Professors and students enrolled in fine arts academies or corresponding institutions in the European Union, by presenting a certificate of enrollment for the current academic year.
- Professors and students of degree, specialist degree, or postgraduate courses and research doctorates in the faculties of architecture, conservation of cultural heritage, education sciences, or arts and philosophy with an archaeological or historical-artistic focus. The same benefits are allowed for professors and students of corresponding faculties or courses established in EU member states. Free admission is granted to students by presenting a certificate of enrollment for the current academic year, and to professors by presenting a suitable document.
- Journalists in good standing with the payment of association fees, by presenting a suitable document proving their professional activity (see DD of 7/09/2016 DG-Musei).
- For study and research reasons attested by Italian or foreign schools or universities, academies, research and culture institutes, as well as by bodies of the Ministry, or for specific and motivated needs, the Heads of the Institutes can allow free entry to their exhibition venues for specific periods upon request.
- Free admission to state school teachers with permanent and fixed-term contracts at museums, archaeological areas, and monuments. The MiC has joined the initiative regarding access to spaces where exhibitions or temporary displays are set up with a separate exhibition path from the ordinary visit route. Consequently, eligible individuals can access these spaces for a fee, using vouchers that can be generated through a computer application (istruzione.it), active from November 30, 2016 (see Circular No.77/2016 DG-Musei).
- To operators of volunteer associations operating through agreements at MiC's peripheral locations.
- To honorary Inspectors and Conservators of MiC.
- Military personnel of the Cultural Heritage Protection Unit; members of ICCROM.
- Italian and foreign scholars for study or research reasons attested by Italian or foreign schools or universities, academies, research and culture institutes, as well as by bodies of the Ministry. Alternatively, for specific and motivated needs, the Director-General may issue annual cards for free entry (DM 239/2006).

How to reach
Train: Disembark at Trieste Centrale or Trieste Miramare station, then take a taxi or bus.
Bus: Exit Trieste station onto Viale Miramare, and take bus lines no. 6 or no. 36 towards MIRAMARE-GRIGNANO.
From Slovenia: From Sesana-Fernetti border, head towards Opicina, follow signs to Trieste and Miramare (9.5 km). From Skofie-Rabuiese border, head towards Aquilinia, follow signs to Trieste and Miramare (16 km).
Car: Take A4 highway towards Trieste, exit at Monfalcone Est - "Lisert," follow signs to Sistiana, then take SR14 (coastal road) and turn right at the "Grignano Mare" or "Castello di Miramare" signs.
On foot: From the port, entrance to the park in Grignano is 5 minutes; from Miramare train station, it's a 15-minute walk via Via Beirut.
Accessibility
- Disabled Access Site: there is an elevator to go up to the upper floor, not big but they have a wheelchair that can be used if the visitor's does not fit.
- There are no chairs or benches to sit on along the tour path
