The ​Museo Nazionale Romano will be closed from 6 November to 3 December 2020, in compliance with the DPCM 3th November 2020

The National Roman Museum was born in 1889 as one of the main centers of historical and artistic culture of united Italy. In addition to welcoming and exhibiting the works of historical collections passed to the State and the numerous antiquities that emerged from the works of adaptation of Rome to its new role as Capital of the Kingdom of Italy, the Museum was intended to increase the historical and artistic heritage of the city and contribute with it in the most effective way to the increase of culture. About a century after its establishment in the Baths of Diocletian, the Museum was reorganized into four distinct locations: Palazzo Massimo, Palazzo Altemps and the Crypta Balbi were added to the Baths of Diocletian.

    • journalists in the italian national register or any other journalist from a foreign country, only for work porpouses and according to a valid document proving the given professionalism;
