Museums

The Palazzo is open to the public during temporary exhibitions.

Palazzo Fortuny is one of the most eclectic and interesting museums on the Venetian scene. It is located in the Gothic Palazzo Pesaro degli Orfei in Campo San Beneto and was transformed by Mariano Fortuny (Granada 1871 – Venice 1949) into an atelier where he practised photography, set design, stagecraft, textile design and painting: all of these are represented in the building's spaces and structures, decoration and collections. Open to visitors in its entirety, it extends over four picturesque floors and hosts exhibitions closely connected to the spirit of Fortuny and his passion for research and experimentation.
