This exhibition is part of the celebrations for the three hundredth anniversary of the birth of Charles of Bourbon.
It celebrates the king as a popularizer of the discoveries of the rising archeology by the books produced by the Royal Printing he founded.
The restoration of 200 of the more than 5,000 books held by the Museum, was completed in 2015 by the Istituto Centrale per la Grafica and it is the opportunity to also learn the technical aspects of the engraving and print.
The exhibition takes place simultaneously in three locations, Naples, Madrid and Mexico City, interlinked and mutually accessible thanks to multimedia.
The event is organized in agreement with the Real Academia de Bellas Artes of San Fernando of Madrid and with the Academia de San Carlos of Mexico City.
