The Archaeological Park and Landscape Valley of the Temples of Agrigento organizes, in collaboration with the University of Bologna, a Field School called "Le forme dell’abitare nel Mediterraneo. Il caso di Agrigento".
The School, scheduled from 20th September to 13th October 2019, will take place in the so-called Hellenistic-Roman district of the Park.
The project includes a theoretical part, focused the study of the Mediterranean context in which the housing architectures patterns develops (see attachment B) and a second part practice, focused on the excavation and records of some archaeological contexts from Agrigento.
The school can be attended by university students, both Italian and foreign, enrolled in a study course relevant to the subject (Archeology, History of Art, Urban Planning, Architecture, Economics of Cultural Heritage). Students who attend (or have attended) Bachelor's, Master's, Postgraduate and PhD programs are admitted.
The Park Management will provide all students with 20 scholarships in the amount of 500 euros to cover the cost of food and accommodation.
